Obama Answers Sanctuary Survey, McCain Too Scared

WHILE OUR ORIGINAL INTENT was to present a meaningful side-by-side comparison of both Senator Obama’s and Senator McCain’s answers to our survey in order to better inform voters, Senator McCain’s unwillingness to answer questions or go on the record with his positions on the specific details covered in the questionnaire has made this impossible.

Right Wing Astroturf Group Faking Hispanic Creds Exposed

FRAIDYCAT MCCAIN and his Republican cronies and conspirers continue to do what they always do: lie to us, pretend to be what they ain’t, and endeavour to use us to feed their own power. This is not our people. This is liars wearing masks that have a McCain face painted on the outside, and blood of nuestra gente dripping down the inside, where they can sniff and lick at it in privacy, feeding their vampiric lifestyles and political agendas.

Cindy McCain’s Husband Confused Again

POOR JOHN MCCAIN. First he says he cares about migrants and their plight, and then he doesn’t. First he is for comprehensive and humane immigration reform…and then…I mean, really. Who the hell knows what he’s saying anymore.

DNC08 Slideshow

I’VE BEEN DEEP IN THE MIX for days and putting together the first video to come out of my DNC/RNC experiences. It will be about 20 – 25 minutes, a longer documentary than I’ve ever released to others, and probably not strict “documentary,” but it tells a story and it has fun doing so. Meanwhile, here’s a short slideshow of that same trip, put together by an amigo who was also there.

Let Me Tell You A Story

STILL WORKING IT ALL OUT. For the last two days I have been editing and uploading fotos from the DNC and the RNC. And of course I have to get it all out, get it all down, or what really was the point of going? Telling the story is not really separate from the experience, and it’s not owed or anything. It is just part of being me and going.

The Front Line is Everywhere – RNC 08

The GOP actually needs an army now, to make itself evident and dare celebrate anything in public. They have lied, killed, they laugh while we suffer with health problems or bemoan the loss of life and humanity. They bring their army to protect them from the voice of the People they supposedly serve.

Homeward Bound

AND FINALLY, after 12 days or so, I am just about done with the conventions and with flying and with huge political extravaganzas and with taxing my credit card and with blogging for Kenneth Cole Productions and with mixing my brain up with wildly fluctuating sleep schedules. Honestly, I have stretched my perception and comfort [...]

Flying the Pinche Skies

I AM IN ” AIRPLANE MODE” which means no signals are being sent out, but I can write a draft of this post and post it when we hit the ground. It is 9:43 am. I am not on the intended flight, but have been moved to a different series of flights, given one extra [...]

And now, no news.

THERE IS STILL A LOT GOING ON in the world, and every day, and many thoughts in my mind, and much moving through my heart. But I seem to have pulled back a bit, once again, from the flow of news and commentary. I’m sure it’s like a circuit breaker to keep me sane.

Tell it to Tezcatlipoca

EARTHLINGS need to know that I don’t feel interested today in a long post on any given topic. Yet—dammit—the planet requires my input on certain subjects and I’m not going to stand in between humankind’s need for that input and…me. Because that would just be selfish. Aside from spatially impossible.

This appearance is a followup to Kety’s last interview, wherein she announced the questionnaire that her and the rest of our group at the Sanctuary prepared and gave to the Presidential candidates.
