News With Nezua | Puppets and Pawns
ARIZONA GOVERNOR JAN BREWER is desperately swinging back at the national boycotts and global condemnation demanding a repeal of Arizona’s SB 1070 (“Pro-Racial Profiling Law”). Last week, she commissioned a snarky frog-puppet video skit that promotes the widely condemned law by responding to all critics with an admonition to read the bill or shut up about it. This week News With Nezua—in the form of Zip and Zoe, puppet friends with their own Puppet Theater—responds.

LOL this was great. And what about people who HAVE read it and still aren’t 100% sure what it could mean for them. I mean she even said herself “no I don’t know what an illegal immigrant looks like” or whatever the f she said when someone asked her. If she can’t prove that it’s not racial profiling…maybe it’s because….IT IS?????

I’ve looked over your blog and found it to be the typical uninformed tripe we hear from the progressive flank of humanity. So the bill requires profiling? Nuts ! Actually it expressly forbids profiling. You have to be legally stopped for another violation to be asked for identification. If you have done nothing illegal you have nothing to fear. I noticed that the word THINK is spelled backwards below. Very telling. So hear this; an unvarnished opinion on why Americans want to drive Mexican culture from it’s midst.
1 – Dependency, don’t have children in this country as an illegal just to acquire citizenship so they and you can glam off of productive people. My wife is constantly asked by Mexicans at her work when she is having another baby. When she says we can’t afford another one they all say ” The state will pay for it”. Well.. the state is us and WE WONT TAKE IT ANYMORE.
2 – Rule of law , in Mexico there seems to be no respect for what the law says and you are bringing that culture here. We are sick of unlicensed drivers on our roads killing and injuring our citizens daily with no insurance – WE WONT TAKE IT ANYMORE.
3 – Language. Say what you will but we speak English and you will NEVER get ahead here unless you speak it fluently. It is a challenge to be served at many places of business these days simply because of poor communication. We refuse to bend over backwards to accommodate your lack of respect for our culture and language. WE WONT TAKE IT ANYMORE
4 – Culture . The Mexican culture is in many ways an anathema to our way of life. Your attitudes and laws toward women are reprehensible and do not reflect our values. WE WONT TAKE IT ANYMORE
5 – Hypocritical. Just read Mexican immigration laws and then read ours and honestly report who respects human life and property and who doesn’t WE WONT TAKE IT ANYMORE
I could go on and on. But now that I think about it none of your readers probably bothered to read the whole post because they are so blinded by their own racial superiority complex they can’t read anything that makes sense.
I don’t hate Mexican people but I don’t want to live in their culture. Here’s an idea. What’s wrong with fixing Mexico? Or do you want to blame Americans for that mess too? Remember we buy your oil and drugs, what more do you want?
Disrespect from a stranger, insults, outright lies about law, fascist type admonitions for submission as proof of innocence rather than innocence presumed before guilt as is the American way, an arrogance that you are the first to come and offer your unvarnished assiness, and a false dichotomy between “Americans” and those of Mexican descent who live and work here.

When you use the word “illegal” as a noun, do you mean people like Rush Limbaugh who bring illegal drugs into other nations? Who secure illegal prescriptions? Or do you mean cops like the one in Seattle recently who assaulted a Mexicano innocent of any crime? Or perhaps you mean the killing of Marcelo Lucero? The illegal white kids who are now in lockup for that, do you refer to them? Or do you refer to the shooting this month of 14 year old Sergio Hernández on Mexican soil by a US illegal border guard? Do you refer to Elliot Spitzer, or Tiger Woods or Dick Cheney or George W Bush? These illegals have names! You really ought to use them. It will make your unvarnished bullshit sparkle. As far as exploitation and leeching off of others, that is what the US labor force-and especially ignoramuses like you-does to Mexicanos who work so hard to sew up your clothes, pack your meat, pick your produce, and keep the economic engine turning.
Also, look up “glam” in the dictionary, bright eyes.

Who is “We”? Because in Arizona and Florida and Nevada and California and New York and Oregon and well…in every state in this nation, WE speak Spanish, too. And other languages. In fact, if you go to many parts of some of these states, you will not get ahead unless you speak it. It may even be a challenge to get served.
Bend over backwards? You are simply a fool. Do you even know the stipulations in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo related to the Spanish language? No. Go read, and then come back with your racist outrage. It will at least make you sound a tiny bit educated. Anyway, despite those provisions, Spanish was spoken on this continent—and even in the USA—before English was. Do you know much about English? It is a melange of various languages, always growing, always changing. Unlike your cemented ignorance.
