So? I’m not trying to undermine you in any way. It seems you are intimately familiar con la historia de Mexico, and as I spent quite a bit of time studying it myself, I’m curious to know your interpretation, Nezua.

Before Law School, I studied some Mexican history. De hecho, escribi mi tesis en la guerra de los cristeros. VIVA CRISTO REY, como se dijeron. Admittedly, I’m not current on Mexican politics. But, since the original post referenced back to the days of Villa, Zapata, and Obregon, the following is a fair question:

Did the 1910 Mexican Revolution do anything to improve the life of the average Mexican? I ask because who is to say that any new Revolution in Mexico would do anything but to just cost lives and leave Mexicans with the same quality of life as they have now.

Thanks for the “reminder” on Mexican history. As far as your last comment, I can only say that clearly, killing is not to be done lightly, nor is it something I’m advocating on this page. But speaking in general sense, sometimes justice demands violence in one form or another. Students of the American Revolution might agree.

Interesting article. However, it is not clear what is being proposed. Is it a revolution? If so, the writer does not propose a detailed plan, which could be a problem.
I also remind you that the Mexican Revolution of 1910 came with a staggering human price, around 1 million people dead.
