What is wrong with waving the mexican flag, Jack?

What does the Constitution say about “illegal entries”?

What are “the rules that make this the greatest one in the world”?

By rules do you mean “treaties”? Like NAFTA? and CAFTA? By rules do you mean free and fair elections? By “rules” do you mean invasion of other countries to snatch their resources? By “rules” do you mean giving power to people like Joe Arpaio who feels justified in violating peoples’ constitutional right to be free from unwarranted search and seizure, to not be racially profiled? By “rules” do you mean the laws that somehow are allowing for our prisons to be mostly populated by people of color, although our proportionate rates of crime should dictate otherwise in a fair society?

Do you really think Mexicans choose the US because they like it better? Do you think it doesnt hurt them to leave the land of their birth behind? To leave family members behind? To leave a land that loves their language and is not hostile to it behind?

Do you honestly think that people who are undocumented do not have the right to “express their opinions”?

I feel sort of sorry for you. But there’s nothing wrong here that a little education can’t fix.

Keep on, and thanks for doing your best to be respectful here, while disagreeing.

I repsect the comments of the Latino American citizens. However, once again we see the Mexican flag being waved and Mexican Americans unwilling to honor our Consitution and what it spells out about illegal entries…by any country, race or religion. Let’s play by the rules that make this the greatest one in the World….and why some Mexicans chose the USA over their own homeland. DAH! I doubt if this will be published, but at least I cleared my heart without predjudice against my Mexican American Amigos who came here legally and earned the right to express their opinions…just as I’ve done.

Well, I imagine the simplest answer is “we” celebrate what we feel is worth rejoicing over. And if you, for example, feel nothing to be rejoicing over, than you do not celebrate.

Myself, I celebrate a notably vocal and apparently inexorable cultural shift that pushes back on old fashioned racism and fearmongering that walks hand in hand with racist violence. I would think this would be cause to celebrate, regardless of whether or not it is the last push or just one in a series.
