According to Think Progress, it seems likely it was a result of the fact Dobbs lives in a rural area and it’s currently hunting season. I mean, how else would a bullet hit a wall and just fall off unless it was fired from a very long distance?

Thank you. And I don’t think there’s much more point to his reporting a shot that “slid” off the house, his ranch on 300 acres, ten days before he started whining about it in public aside from trying to pose himself as some sort of victim in a vitriol stew he picked out the ingredients for.

Funny how Beck has bodyguards, Arpaio is now whining about his safety, Lou is whining about a stray hunter’s bullet hitting his ranch house on 300 acres of land…

They begin to demonstrate through these actions and complaints the same fear that fuels their very careers and actions in the first place. They manifest a darkness that clouds their mind and now they see it coming for them in their sleep.

There is no bodyguard that can keep away the conscience.

Nezua, Really good essay. I signed the anti-Dobbs petition — I think Fox is the appropriate home for him, not CNN which pretends to be a respectable news outlet. This doesn’t mean that I approve of anyone shooting at his house (tho chances are it was a hunter’s wild shot).

How come Dobbs is so ready to assume that a bunch of petition-signers would shoot at him, when he whips people up all the time & then claims that the rabble he’s roused is pre-existing public opinion? Poor Dobbsy, you think **he** influences people? No, no, no, merely a reporter …. Dundo!
