Were you thinking of how Taco Bell ruined Mexican food by gringoizing it? Hey I think Mexican culture is cool, but I'm a gringo and hot peppers burn my insides out, so I'm glad for Taco Bell :). Yes, you could give me a long list of gripes about what Uncle Sam has done to Mexicans, but gimme a break, we're changing, who did we recently elect, another George Bush or Barack Obama? Who did you elect, Emperor Maximilian or Felipe Calderon? There must be a way to megamerge and allow friendly mass 2-way migration to equalize development and opportunities, it's only a line drawn on a map, get me an eraser. Let's at least agree that the people on both sides can be friends even if their governments suck, and let bygones be bygones and see if there's any real support for megamerge. If there was, on the unapologetic Mexican side, would you back them? Look at the European Union. They did it, so what's our excuse? Are we the New World or what?
