Thanks Jason. Yes, I think there is some of me in everyone if I take the time to look at them for a good moment, and not only at myself and my own fears and complaints. I'm glad you are opening your heart to compassion for other humans. That's good for you, and good for the world.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post, I'm glad you liked it. Peace.

Hi I just wanted to comment on your St. Patricks Day post (or rather the one from a year ago). Very cool, I myself am Irish and the story of Los San Patricos is somethign I never knew about. (I just ordered One Man's Hero off amazon!)

I only recently came to the realization that the Mexican migration of late mirrored that of my ancestors. That realization brought hope a lot of compassion for me. I in my earlier days I had some bad feelings about the Mexicans coming in but mostly because they played their car stereos too loud and made my wife mad. But that was just young men and young men are rude whereever they are from.

One day at Walmart I see this Mexican guy and his wife is picking out something to wear and his kids are begging for Pokemona and I realized "That guy is just like me!"

I also realized that as a Catholic havin Millions of Catholic brothers and sisters come in is indeed a good thing for me and my church.

Now... If I could just gain a passable conversational Spanish.

Thanks!
