After having an officer shove his knee into his neck, while another one held his arms, and yet another stood near, one police officer stood up, pulled his gun from his holster and shot him in the back while he was face down. "And we have to ask ourselves again, What Kind of Nation Are We? What do we lose in a situation like that? Does it balance against any measurable gain? Or is there another way to go about reaching our goal? Are we the kind of nation that turns 12 million members of our standing society into “dangerous aliens” undeserving of common rights? Is that what kind of nation we will remain in 2009?" it is up to us, we the people, to make the change's desired.
