This is also totally unrelated, but I think you would like to know about the situation unraveling out here in the Bay Area.

Oscar Grant was brutally shot in the back while being arrested on New Years Day in Oakland, CA. After having an officer shove his knee into his neck, while another one held his arms, and yet another stood near, one police officer stood up, pulled his gun from his holster and shot him in the back while he was face down. I recommend you take a look at the different videos out there on the net. They are very telling.

"Justice for Oscar Grant.
Justice for Gaza.
End the government sponsored murders in the ghettos of Oakland and Palestine."

Just wanted to make sure you knew.

the interconnectedness is what it's about. israel, new york, or two dot. what takes place anywhere can take place anywhere.
reverb effects us all. seems like if i am having a tough week or a good one, so are others... people i don't even know. an interesting dynamic that we tend to rationalize by looking at the moon or the line up of the planets? maybe it is closer to home than we think, even if on the other side of the earth?
i think there has to be a TOTAL ELIMINATION of (especially) ice, dea, swat, homeland security, and other military performance type organizations, so as to give a chance, and maybe even force, more civilized ways to address what is considered to be (to generalize) social problems. these agencies PROVE to only provoke more problems than they solve. these agencies are not a means to a solution, but create more strife, in all or whatever demographics are considered.

"And we have to ask ourselves again, What Kind of Nation Are We? What do we lose in a situation like that? Does it balance against any measurable gain? Or is there another way to go about reaching our goal?
Are we the kind of nation that turns 12 million members of our standing society into “dangerous aliens” undeserving of common rights? Is that what kind of nation we will remain in 2009?"

it is up to us, we the people, to make the change's desired. SOMEHOW create a unification, our own force of spirit and ACTION, for the common good to overpower the oppressive/horrific agendas of an elite and powerful few.
i wish i had the where with all to enumerate steps that can be taken. i basically only know to start in my own backyard. i know it takes energy and vigilance. i know it will take we the people, TOGETHER, heartfelt in the individual, helping each other, to make this mandatory change. i'll quote kai again, as i often have when he wrote, "grassroots to power".

Totally unrelated, but wanted to submit this link to you:
http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d111:S.Res.10:
Of all days, on the day it was discovered that the Israeli military shoved 100 civilians into a house for "their protection," then bombed it, the Senate passed an unconditional support of Israel's actions bill.

Holy.
Crap.
