The XOLAGRAFIK Diaries [episode 1: "cambiando"]
THE UMX BLOG will see changes in 2009, and though you don’t know it, we have begun already! I’d talk allll about it, but in an effort to reduce the amount of words I type each day to around 500,000 or less, I will not introduce or explain this video except to say it is one of many that will be featured here in the coming year and that it will be followed up in a couple days with Episode 2.

Which will be a counterpart. An addendum. A flipside referendum. An alternate rendering of this seminal communication. A bit more of a linear explanation.

Looked very cool…wish I knew what it said but i liked how you played with the lighting and graphics and intercut the various images, gave it a certain feel.
dont take this the wrong way but you wish you knew what it said? what the hell does that mean? jaja!! it says just what it says! do you mean you wish you knew what “cambiando” means? no…if that were the case you’d go look it up. anyway, Cambiando means “changing.”
if you mean the part where the noise layers up and gets so you can’t hear what’s being said, that’s on purpose. meant to feel hectic, crammed, as if you are overwhelmed, wanna turn it down or shut it off. an expression of how i’ve been feeling blogging lately.
if you mean the song lyrics that you can’t make out, well it was a rough take. truth is, i never meant it to be included in a video. it was what i call a “SIDFI” take. “so i dont forget it.” like when i first come up with the chords, melody, or words and if i dont get it down, i’ll lose it. meant for my ears only. not for actual listening purpose. i almost mumble it. but…i jsut dragged it into the video anyway! hell with it. fyi, soon i’m releasing the full fledged song and video that goes with it.
but if i’m wrong about what you mean, feel free to enlighten me, really. you’ve got me very curious!
