This is a topic near and dear to my heart... then again, I have issues with the socioeconomic and racial bias of the criminal "justice" system in general. I wrote a fictional novella exploring these types of issues many, many moons ago and learned so many appalling and horrifying things about our legal system... makes me sick... it really is a topic that needs much more attention.
