there is nothing more powerful than the personal connection to the quite of awe.

to have something happen on a universal scale that actually feels right - is to say at the very least - unfamiliar. the excitement of president obama's win, and what that means, is almost overwhelming to figure out how to integrate this into every day self. what to do with that energy...wow.
good call for time to reflect, meditate, awaken to what is ultimately true, to rest now in the experience.

the path of his candidacy to president obama, reminds me of the stages of a romantic relationship. the meeting of each other, the courtship, the ceremony, (currently?) the honeymoon, and next the hands on to the formation and manifestation of the potential, faith in, and therefore hope of this... union, or aka "marriage".

thank you again nezua for putting us on an important and purposeful common ground.

I'm still in awe that Obama got elected. How can you top that?

Yeah, I find it's so important to stay grounded, to clear out, to center and renew, after an experience like this. You put it well. Gotta find the right rhythm and flow.

This is kinda why I was shooting hoops in silent solitude on Tuesday and yesterday posted that pic of Obama turned inward in a contemplative moment, rather than flag-waving and cheering and externally-directed energy. At moments like this, maybe because of my Buddhist background or something, it just feels right to kinda unplug from freneticism and resituate oneself internally. Get oneself right inside first. Re-align and adjust and re-energize. For example, by writing comments on your amigo's blog, hehe.

Anyway, thanks for the refreshing appeal to sanity. We need more of that in the tubez. Too much energy frittered away, not enough stillness and wisdom, ya know. ;-)

Peace.
