i dont mind opposing viewpoints or learning more. but are you sure you know everything about “our ancestors”?

mestizaje is a myth. families of the elite ruling class of this continent can trace their lineage back to families in europe. at the time of the invasion, there were no national armies, only hired mercenaries. our ancestors were raped and killed by them. your homework assignment is to tell us who made up the majority of mercenaries of that time. we do have some of their blood in us by force. but mainly we survived and either isolated, acculturated, or assimilated. i say we look critically and deeply at our history and honor our ancestors by uncovering more truth about the invasion, not perpetuate myths which essentially minimize our ancestor’s sacrifices.
