is anybody out there? i trust you are alright nezua. i look forward to hearing the rest of the story. the good(?), but unfortunately - mostly the bad and the ugly by appearances. the rnc demonstrates where the sad fake laugh of this lady originates and perpetuates. making clear (to me), that dnc/obama/biden, would be considered the lesser of the evils. i'm thinking that at the very least, through the pretentious pomp at the dnc, obama was able to speak his own words, by writing his own speech? (albeit framed?) i dunno these things for sure, so am always looking for enlightenment.
i'm curious what the views are of ron paul? on this journey. not a contender, is he more than a significant side note? he speaks of revolution, liberty, unity. does he have answers?
i have always disliked the sound of a vacuum.

Well, part of the surprise thing is that so few people: black, white, brown, yellow, red who are doing the conversing, speaking or listening, know much history, recent or long past. So many U.S. citizens live in an experiential vacuum {the now}, a language vacuum {English} and a cultural vacuum
{Hollywood, Lou Dobbs or perhaps gangstaland} and when faced with ANY reasoned explications, they often are quite adrift and that includes many persons with advanced, though rather specialized degrees. I read blogs to get some depth and understanding, and books too of course. Yet, I usually avoid discussing the political aspects of the culture I live in {not the U.S.} because the person I am speaking with doesn't have the thirty years of study and living I have and getting them up to speed takes months, but most of all, they DO NOT CARE. It was nice that the fake laugh lady wanted to listen. So few people wish to have their vacuum disturbed.

People always seem surprised when I can state events that occured in black history, too (since I'm African-American).

It seems a little offensive when people are 'surprised' like that, doesn't it? Like they don't expect 'minorities' to be educated.
