"...a path that remains with me."

"...and still lead me home."

Your insights into your soul resound and I keep coming back to this particular writing, this poety or non-poetry of yours.

In many of us it seems that there is a time or incident, person or place that is to us "home." As if it is who we are in essence. A defining moment in our walk.

So there is home and there is becoming and there is where we are in "this" place, which is everywhere and nowhere.

As always, as you learn, Nezua, you teach.

As always, gracias!

this is beautifully expressed 'non-poetry' - I'm glad to have tripped over it...

can relate to the paradoxes and uncertainties in becoming, that you speak of.

in a dominant culture that seeks and provokes crude classification and packaging - your thoughts are like gentle, rebellious winds that defy containment. I will fly by again and hope it's okay to add you to my not-so-notable blogroll? aluta continua

[...] The Unapologetic Mexican - We Stand in No (Every) Place Sometimes I feel my truest views mesh with the current political and social conversations not at all, if rather jarringly. As an alien, I do take part. To the best of my ability. But the truth is, I rarely find long-lasting excitement or joy or comfort or satisfaction in so much of what this culture offers, what the media offers, what even us serious people so often entertain. As I’ve said, I wear it all very loosely. A garment that matches me at times. For a moment. A reader may find that my writing sometimes dances with a self-mocking tone, and when not being plain outraged, takes on a comic tint. What a casual reader may not know is that when it does, I am at my most earnest. [...]

Your writing helps lead my thoughts regarding social order in the direction toward an understanding that my place in this world is not defined by the color of my skin or anything else external. Thank you.
