ah ha. On my own computer now (15″ screen, 1280×800, FF3 on ubuntu) and the site looks gorgeous. Muuuuuch n icer here than on corporate lockdown.

ah, you know tho the issue here is mostly the header image, i think? it cannot squeeze down that far.

dunno…i’ve spent a lot of hours on this one. but i may go another way. still feeling it out. hard to make such a move! i got so used to the old place. i’ve been hunting and found a few themes that may do what i want a little better. you can only push a theme so far.

but i’m sure i’ll definitely be seeking some advice from you at some point in all this coding wilderness. thanks.
